Wimbledon Park Golf Club Junior Academy
Our aim is to strengthen children’s golf skills, whilst developing confidence in themselves and their abilities.
We have a truly unique junior academy that is flourishing at WPGC. We currently have 60 juniors learning to improve their golf through our junior academy.
The academy is split into 6 groups consisting of up to 10 junior golfers all trying to either gain a junior membership or having already achieved this looking to gain or improve their handicap.
Whereas nationally junior membership numbers are in decline we are blazing a trail for others to follow so why not be a part of it.
Junior Golf Academy for Children
Wimbledon Park Junior Golf Academy is the ideal way for children from ages 6 to 14 years to be part of a game that will teach them respect, social discipline, honesty, integrity, motivation and much more. Golf is a game that will give children positive influences and can be enjoyed for a lifetime . The experiences and friendships children make through golf will continue through to adulthood. Our junior academy is a fun and safe environment providing various courses, holiday camps, individual tuition and ultimately, junior membership
We can also offer advice for parents and guardians on how to support young golfers. Parents will also have the knowledge that Wimbledon Park Golf Club has your child’s best interests at heart.
Golf has the potential to instill patience and discipline in children. Achievement in golf requires regular practice and patience, and for those children who possess the desire to develop their skills they will learn the sense of fulfillment that comes with overcoming the challenge of improvement in golf.
Children are able to take on a sense of accountability, independence and confidence as they make choices about the kinds of shots to play in different situations and manage their rounds of golf.
